Simin Tong
A researcher working on the birthplaces of planets
Welcome to my homepage! I am Simin Tong (童思敏, click for pronounciation), a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan working with Prof. Ted Bergin. Before moving to Ann Arbor, I did my PhD at the University of Leicester, advised by Prof. Richard Alexander, with whom I studied the million-year evolution of protoplanetary disks with both modeling and observations. I completed my Master’s in Astronomy at Leiden University and my undergraduate degrees in Physics and Law at Jilin University.
